Definitions of terms used in the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act are contained in Schedule 1.  Other terms used throughout this manual are defined in Policy Definitions.

Schedule 1 contains definitions of terms used in this Act.

POLICY

Where a word appears in this manual and is not defined in either Schedule 1 or in Policy Definitions, the meaning shall be taken to have been derived from the Oxford English Dictionary.
