Records relating to the development of individual ministry/agency regulations and orders in council and to maintaining a collection of ministry or agency acts and legislation.

Record types include:  approved ministry legislation, draft regulations and orders in council, working papers, correspondence, memoranda, and reports.

SR = BC Archives will selectively retain case files for ministry/agency regulation projects, order in council drafts, emergency orders, and ministerial orders.  These records document the development of ministry/agency regulations and orders.

A government archivist will select files for preservation, consulting the Records Officer and ministry/agency staff as appropriate.  All other records covered by these secondaries will be destroyed.
