BC Archives will selectively retain case files for ministry/agency regulation projects,
order in council drafts, emergency orders, and ministerial orders. These records document
the development of ministry/agency regulations and orders. A government archivist will
select files for preservation, consulting the Records Officer and ministry/agency staff as
appropriate. All other records covered by these secondaries will be destroyed. |
